The law allows Counsel to act for clients, in certain matters, without the need for the client to also engage a solicitor. This is called a “direct access brief”. As a solicitor is not required to act as the “intermediary”, the client’s overall legal fees can be greatly reduced. Chris regularly agrees to act for clients on a direct access basis.
To discuss briefing Chris on a direct access basis please contact him.
In all cases Chris offers a thirty-minute free consultation with new clients.
In certain matters Chris can also provide a “fixed fee” service so the client knows precisely what legal fees they will incur.
Liability limited by a scheme approved under professional standards legislation.
